Captioneer generates animated captions from audio files in both After Effects and Premiere Pro. Select an audio source, choose a preset style, and the plugin transcribes your audio and places styled caption layers in your timeline. The plugin uses AI-powered speech recognition to handle multiple languages and speakers.

Motion Graphics Template presets. Captioneer includes 15+ built-in .mogrt styles for caption animation. You can preview styles before applying them, and the plugin supports custom .mogrt files from any marketplace.
Caption Track processing. Import SRT files or generate Caption Tracks from auto-transcribed text. Edit caption timing directly in the timeline and modify text from the Properties panel.
Font management. The plugin syncs with Google Fonts and automatically updates fonts across all Captioneer .mogrt files. You can map fonts for multilingual projects.
After Effects precomps. Build custom cursor animations and other effects using Essential Graphics precomps. The plugin supports both preset-based workflows and manual template creation.
Post-processing tools. Remove punctuation, translate Caption Tracks (in Premiere Pro 25.2.0+), sync motion attributes across clips, and batch-process multiple caption layers.
The plugin works with After Effects and Premiere Pro 2022 and later on both Windows and macOS. Projects created with Captioneer can be opened by collaborators without the plugin installed.
