What It Does

AutoOrientCamera generates a new camera in your composition and automatically keyframes its point of interest, position, and orientation to face each layer in order. You place markers on layer 1 to define when the camera moves to each subsequent layer. If you have 10 layers, you place 10 markers. The marker timing controls when the camera shifts focus.

Key Features

Marker-driven timing. Place markers on layer 1 to set when the camera faces each comp layer. The script reads these markers and creates the corresponding keyframes.

Automatic camera generation. Creates a new camera with all necessary animation already in place. No manual keyframing of orientation or point of interest.

Who It’s For

Useful for sequenced layer reveals, gallery-style compositions, or any project where you need the camera to systematically move through a set of layers. Works for title sequences, product showcases, or architectural walkthroughs where layers represent different focal points.
