What It Does

Array automates layer duplication in After Effects. Specify how many copies you want and what property offsets to apply (position, rotation, scale, opacity), then click CREATE. The script generates all the copies with your specified spacing. You can also offset properties on existing layers without creating duplicates.

Key Features

Property offsets. Apply incremental changes to position, rotation, scale, opacity, or anchor point across duplicated layers. Useful for stepped animation builds or grid arrangements.

Randomization. Add random variation to any property on your copies or selected layers. Keeps things from looking too mechanical.

Batch renaming. Change layer names for all copies in one go.

Flexible UI. Install as a dockable panel or run as a floating window that auto-resizes when you toggle options.

Who It’s For

Motion designers building anything with repeated elements: credit sequences, grid layouts, kinetic type builds, or layered 3D setups where you need many slightly offset copies of the same layer.

Pricing

Array uses pay-what-you-want pricing. Individual users can pay any amount. Businesses and teams should pay the suggested minimum of $19.99 for a valid license.
