What It Does
Arc turns keyframe easing into a one-slider operation. Instead of clicking through graph editors or multiple panels, you select keyframes and drag. The plugin supports six modes: standard Ease (in and out), Ease Out, Ease Out/Zero, Ease In, Ease In/Zero, and Linear. Switch modes using keyboard modifiers while the HUD shows your current selection.
Version 1.5 introduced vertical easing, where the middle of your curve becomes the slowest point rather than the endpoints. This mode supports overshoots for bounce effects. You also get to choose between Arc’s custom keyframe system and After Effects’ native keyframes, depending on your workflow.
Key Features
Clone and Paste Easing. Copy easing curves from one set of keyframes and paste them to another. Arc maintains relative direction when keyframe values differ, so a copied curve from 0-100 applies correctly to keyframes ranging 500-600. Paste ease in, ease out, both, or values only (relative or absolute).
Vertical Mode. Creates curves where motion is fastest at keyframes and slowest at the midpoint. Useful for organic slowing in the middle of a motion path. Includes overshoot controls for anticipation and follow-through.
Dynamic Interface. The panel adapts to available space with a minimal footprint. Click the influence percentage icon to reapply the same value to different keyframes without dragging the slider again.
Keyboard Modifiers. Hold modifier keys while dragging to switch easing modes on the fly. Press CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + Button to open the help document.
Who It’s For
Useful for animators who adjust easing frequently, character riggers fine-tuning motion arcs, or motion designers working with multiple layers where batch easing saves time. The clone/paste feature works well for applying consistent timing across repeated elements like text layers or shape animations.
