What It Does
Bahn is an animated typeface that contrasts hard-edged, alpine-inspired letterforms with fluid, organic animations. Originally based on old Austrian train station signage, the design features rigorous geometry that transforms into flowing liquid movements when animated. The typeface comes in a lightweight JSX format that integrates directly with Font Manager, making it quick to implement in After Effects projects. A static OTF version is also included with three weights: Light, Regular, and Bold.

JSX typeface format. The modern JSX format keeps file sizes small and integrates with Font Manager for quick access. Built using compCode, the typeface loads as fully editable shape layers rather than pre-rendered footage, so you can scale without quality loss.
Dual color support. Control two colors independently within each character, giving you flexibility to match brand guidelines or create contrasting effects.
Characteristic optimization. Works with the Characteristic plugin for additional control over text animation properties.
Static typeface included. The OTF file provides three weights for use in static designs or as a companion to the animated version.
A free trial version is available through the Font Manager interface, limited to characters A, B, and C. The full version unlocks all characters with a license key.
