What It Does
Animation Composer Pro is a library manager for After Effects. It lets you store, browse, and apply your own compositions, Motion Graphics templates (MOGRTs), audio files, and video footage without cluttering your project. The plugin itself doesn’t include presets; it’s a container for your own assets or third-party libraries.
While this standalone product has been discontinued, the core functionality is now available through the Mister Horse subscription, which includes access to over 6,000 assets and both Animation Composer (for After Effects) and Premiere Composer (for Premiere Pro).
Key Features
Project File Browsing. Load an After Effects project file and see hover-scrub previews for each composition. Add comps to your active project without full import.
MOGRT Support. Import Motion Graphics templates directly from the plugin panel.
Audio Libraries. Preview sound effects with playback controls and pitch shifting. Useful if you maintain large SFX collections.
Video Footage. Point the plugin at video libraries and it renders hover-scrub previews automatically.
