What It Does
AEtoGSAP converts After Effects animations into production-ready GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) code. Select your layers, click analyze, and it generates clean JavaScript timelines alongside HTML and CSS files for instant browser preview. No manual coding required to bring AE motion to the web.
Timing, duration, and custom easing curves translate directly. Animate in After Effects using familiar tools, then export to a format developers can drop into websites or web apps. The generated code runs independently, making it suitable for responsive interfaces, SVG animations, and interactive experiences.
Key Features
Shape Layer support. Exports ellipse and rectangle size, corner radius, Polystar point count and radius, fill and stroke color, stroke width, dashed lines, and custom paths. Animate shapes in AE and the plugin converts them to equivalent SVG properties.
Text Layer export. Preserves font data, alignment, color, and basic transforms. Useful for kinetic typography that needs to run in a browser.
Easing preservation. Custom easing curves from After Effects convert to GSAP’s CustomEase format. Your motion timing stays intact across platforms.
Null and parenting. Handles parented layer hierarchies and null objects, maintaining relationships between animated elements.
Instant preview. Exports HTML, CSS, and GSAP files together. Open the HTML in a browser to see your animation running without configuring a build environment.
