What It Does
AEFX Shortcut Icons and Profiles gives you one-button access to every built-in After Effects effect and major third-party plugin packages using Stream Deck or Touch Portal devices. Instead of hunting through menus, you press a button and the effect applies to your selected layer.
The package includes over 1100 pre-programmed shortcuts organized across multiple pages. Built-in After Effects effects are included, along with support for Boris Sapphire, Boris Continuum, Plugin Everything, Red Giant Complete, Video Copilot, FXFactory Pro, and Boris FX Mocha. You need to own these third-party plugins for those buttons to work.
Key Features
Pre-programmed profiles. Three device profiles come ready to use: 60 pages for Touch Portal, 60 pages for Stream Deck XL, and 82 pages for Stream Deck Regular (15-key). Each profile has buttons already mapped to specific effects.
1100+ custom icons. Every effect gets a dedicated icon, making it easier to identify buttons at a glance.
Organized by plugin package. Effects are grouped by category (built-in, Boris, Red Giant, etc.), so you can navigate to the tools you use most without scrolling through everything.
Custom user presets. You can create pages showing only the effects you reach for regularly, hiding the rest.
Setup manual. A 53-page PDF explains installation and customization. The included tutorial video walks through setup and shows how to rearrange pages.
Who It’s For
This is useful if you already own a Stream Deck or Touch Portal device and want to speed up repetitive tasks like applying effects. It’s especially helpful if you use multiple third-party plugin suites and want centralized access to all of them.
Note that profiles are built for English keyboards only. Non-English keyboards may require manual remapping of some shortcuts.
