What It Does

AE Flame renders fractal flame animations directly in After Effects. Based on fractal flame algorithms, it generates intricate mathematical patterns that you can animate with keyframes. Apply it as an effect and explore procedural visuals without leaving your composition.

Key Features

Fractal flame generation. Creates complex, organic patterns using mathematical fractal algorithms. The visuals have the characteristic flowing, flame-like quality of fractal flames.

Keyframable parameters. Animate the fractal generation over time by keyframing the effect’s controls. Useful for abstract backgrounds, texture overlays, or experimental motion graphics.

Native After Effects effect. Installed as a standard plugin, accessible from Effect > Render > AEFlame. No external rendering required.

Who It’s For

Motion designers working with abstract visuals, experimental animation, or needing unique textural elements. The fractal patterns work well for title backgrounds, transitions, or VJ loops.
